Leo von Lowenbrau is a beautiful 5 year old long haired German Shepherd.  He is an extra large guy with a big bone structure. Leo has the German import conformation with the straighter back people prefer. Leo still needs to gain more weight which he is doing happily. His coat is long and silky and coming in thicker now that he is getting great care.  This big gentle boy loves to go for walks and is equally as happy curling up on the sofa with you for a snuggle and a tummy rub.  He gets along well in the foster home he shares with many other shepherds as long as they don’t try to share his dinner.  He doesn’t need an overly active home – just an overly caring and loving one. Leo does well meeting new people, he is in a foster home with two teenage kids who visit and he does fine with them also. Leo had a cat test, but we weren’t too sure it was a good cat test so we would do it again. If you want a stunning dog to look at with an easy going temperament who asks little, Leo is your guy!
